How to Borrow Library Materials

For safety reasons, the Library's stacks are not currently available for browsing, but you can still borrow the materials on them. There are two ways to request them:

  1. Request items as your search the catalog using the "Hold This Item for Me" button
  2. Use this form to enter requests freehand

Note: Your requests must be done in advance using one of these methods. We cannot accommodate email, phone, or in-person requests.

Once your requests are received, Library staff wearing masks and gloves will pull the items from the shelf, check them out to you, and place them in paper bags. You will receive email confirmation that your materials are ready, at which time you can visit the Library to pick them up.

Returned items are quarantined for three days before being returned to circulation.

Unless otherwise stated to you in the confirmation email, all items are due at the end of the semester (though they are eligible for recall after four weeks if somebody else needs them).
